Privacy Policy

Joji is an event discovery app. This page summarizes what we collect, why, and what we do with it. The full text below is plain English on purpose — we don't think a privacy policy should be unreadable.

What we collect

• Account info — your email, display name, and avatar (if you upload one), provided when you sign in with Apple or Google.
• Profile — your home city, favorite categories, and notification preferences, set during onboarding.
• Activity — events you view, RSVP to, save, or share. We use this to power your feed and surface trends in our admin analytics.
• Location — only while the app is open and only with your permission. Used to find events near you. Never stored on our servers as a continuous trail.
• Device push token — if you enable notifications, so we can send the ones you opted in to.

What we don't collect

• We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. There is currently no advertising in the app.
• We don't track you across other apps or websites.
• We don't use third-party analytics SDKs in the app — our own analytics runs on the same database that stores the events.

Service providers

We use Supabase as our database and authentication backend, Cloudflare for our website and email forwarding, and Apple WeatherKit for event-day forecasts. Each is a standard infrastructure provider that processes the data above on our behalf — they are not given permission to use it for their own advertising or product training.

Your choices

• You can delete your account at any time from inside the app or by emailing support@joji.events. We'll remove your profile and activity within 30 days.
• You can revoke location, notification, or contacts permissions in iOS Settings at any time.
• You can disable Apple's "Hide My Email" relay from your Apple ID settings if you previously used it to sign up.

Children

Joji is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, please email us and we'll delete the account.
